Dr Sonal Abeysuriya is a PGY2 medical graduate currently working at Fiona Stanley Hospital, Perth. He completed his medical training at Bond University in Queensland and has a strong interest in clinical audit, quality improvement, and evidence-based practice. This audit was undertaken at Royal Perth Hospital under the supervision of consultant radiologists and breast surgeons. His research interests include breast imaging, cancer screening outcomes, and the evaluation of diagnostic performance against international benchmarks. Dr Abeysuriya aims to continue engaging in clinical research alongside his postgraduate medical training.
