Dr.Soundappan is Paediatric Surgeon working at the Children’s Hospital at Westmead. He is Associate Professor in Paediatric Surgery at University of Sydney and has conjoint appointments with University of NSW and Notre Dame University. He is currently head of Trauma at Children’s Hospital at Westmead. He graduated from Madras Medical College India in 1989. He completed completed Paediatric Surgery Training from the Institute of Child Health and Hospital for Children, Chennai, India in 1996. Obtained his fellowship in Paediatric Surgery from Royal Australian College of Surgeons in 2008. His interests are Paediatric trauma, Hirschsprung’s disease, Anorectal anomalies, Minimally invasive surgery and Point of care ultrasound. He has completed a PhD on Surgeon Performed Ultrasound in Paediatri
