Louise Calder is a general surgery junior registrar in New Zealand who wishes to work in general surgery long term. She completed her medical degree through the University of Otago, graduating in 2020, and has spent the majority of her time since working in Hawkes Bay. This year she’s moved to Christchurch to further her clinical experience and is working towards earning a spot in the New Zealand general surgery training scheme.
