Dr Matthew Jacob, MBBS, FRACS, MMinInvS, MTrauma is a General and Colorectal Surgeon based in Ballarat, Victoria. He trained in general and colorectal surgery across major Australian centres and completed fellowship training in rural surgery, focusing on inflammatory bowel disease, robotic surgery, and pelvic floor disorders. Dr Jacob holds postgraduate degrees in Minimally Invasive Surgery and Trauma, and is a member of the Colorectal Surgical Society of Australia and New Zealand and the Gastroenterological Society of Australia.
