Susanne works at the intersection of medical software, data-driven research, and health data policy. After studying Molecular Biotechnology and Biomedical Engineering and Medical Physics at TU Munich, she joined Brainlab, working directly with founder Stefan Vilsmeier to architect patient-centric data ecosystems. In 2024, she joined Brainlab spin-off Snke, founding a new department to build a vendor-neutral, trustworthy health data ecosystem. Her work bridges clinical registries and real-world care — most recently bringing the DWG German Spine Registry into live production, rolling out to more than 200 sites and 50,000+ patients within the first 1.5 years.
