Dr Gopi Gopalapillai is a General Surgical Registrar at the Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital (RBWH) as well as STARS Hospital, where he has been working over the past two years. He is a graduate of James Cook University. Gopi is passionate about academic surgery, research development, and long-term contribution to high-quality surgical care, particularly in regional Australia. His clinical interests include colorectal + hepatobiliary surgery, with a strong focus on outcomes-driven practice and service improvement.
