Jennifer Novo is an intern doctor at Westmead Hospital, Sydney. She is the current President of the Pre-Vocational Australasian Surgical Society and was the recipient of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons Annual Medical Student Award in 2025. Jennifer has a strong interest in pursuing a surgical career, with a particular focus on plastic and reconstructive surgery, and is actively involved in clinically focused research. Today she will present on a fulminant Stenotrophomonas maltophilia necrotising soft-tissue infection following CAR T-cell therapy, alongside an in-progress scoping review of soft-tissue infections in CAR T recipients.
