Krishna Basnet is a third-year medical student at Janaki Medical College and Teaching Hospital, Janakpur, Nepal. He serves as Vice President of the Leo Club of Janaki Medical College and Medical Secretary of the Health and Education Improvement Centre. He is a member of the Mountain Medicine Society Nepal and the Global Surgery Simulation Network, with an interest in orthopaedic and trauma-related research. He has completed formal research methodology training through internationally delivered research courses and has been involved in coordinating blood donation programs and Basic Life Support training in collaboration with emergency department faculty. His academic interests focus on trauma education and improving clinical preparedness among medical trainees.
