Dr Rhys McClen is a General Surgery Education and Training (GSET1) registrar currently based at Griffith Base Hospital, NSW. He has trained across a range of metropolitan and regional hospitals, gaining broad experience in general surgery, upper GI, colorectal, vascular and cardiothoracic surgery. Rhys has a strong interest in emergency general surgery, HPB and hernia surgery, equality in access to surgical care, quality improvement, and surgical education. He is actively involved in teaching medical students and junior doctors.
