Tom is a consultant plastic surgeon in Dublin, Ireland, but completed a research fellowship in Perth, WA under Professor Fiona Wood in 2010, and was a fellow of The Australian Craniofacial Unit in Adelaide in 2017 under Professor David David. He simultaneously held the RACS Rowan Nicks scholarship as well as the Vice Chancellors International Scholarship in Macquarie University in 2017. He is both honoured and humbled to be invited to speak at this prestigious event.
